your winnt.sif will tell windows what your default resolution will be on first logon.

make sure that u auto load your ati or nvidia drivers also in your winnt.sif

I have problems setting the resolution if the correct driver is not installed when the system gets to that point...

Check your driver version.

@a06lp, easy, bcuz vmware emulates the hardware so the drivers are not properly installed. test it in a real pc

ok, another problem i have to chalk up to VMWare...

I think i'll do my next test on a partition of my REAL hard drive...
