Lets say C:\xpcdnow, delete the winnt.sifNow you need to remake the cd again. THe easiest way I can think of is to download Nlitehttp://nuhi.msfn.org/then use it to "make an Iso". Basically just select your XPCD folder and make an iso, you don't have to use Nlite to reduce your windows unless you want too.Now burn your iso. use it to install. And will those modified file cause more problems later. and legally he is not allow to use an xp cd from another system, for his new one. Now realistically... it is a different story.I personally don't use nlite.
