Primal Posted September 1, 2002 Share Posted September 1, 2002 A friend of mine LOL .... installed a copy of windows XP from a oem cd... and wants to know if SP1 will work or not on his computer, and he's copy IS activated, it was done over the net... would this mess up Xp if he downloaded and installed it ? The SP1 is only going to check for the 2 or 3 volume keys that have been leaked - those will no longer work.
