Anthiar
Ok, dumb question here, but I am having the same problems, and would love to try the fix presented here... how do I do so? I have never attempted to modify my reqistry before, and after blundering about with regedit for a bit, have accomplished nothing. So if someone could give me the step by step insructions for using Boosters fix's please post them here. Thanks in advance
MHz
This is booster tweak, just double click the file to add to registry. No promises, I did not create this tweak.booster.reg
iN2Fun
I got something like this way make long ago in XtremeMaC_Tweaks pack. The accesibility_disable.reg looks like thisWindows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility]"Warning Sounds"=dword:00000000"Sound on Activation"=dword:00000000[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Blind Access]"On"="0"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\HighContrast]"Flags"="98""High Contrast Scheme"="High Contrast Black (large)""Volital HC Scheme"="High Contrast Black (large)"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Preference]"On"="0"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response]"AutoRepeatDelay"="1000""AutoRepeatRate"="500""BounceTime"="0""DelayBeforeAcceptance"="1000""Flags"="2""Last BounceKey Setting"=dword:000001f4"Last Valid Delay"=dword:000003e8"Last Valid Repeat"=dword:000001f4"Last Valid Wait"=dword:000003e8[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\MouseKeys]"Flags"="2""MaximumSpeed"="80""TimeToMaximumSpeed"="3000"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\SerialKeys][HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\ShowSounds]"On"="0"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\SoundSentry]"Flags"="2""FSTextEffect"="0""WindowsEffect"="0""TextEffect"="0"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\StickyKeys]"Flags"="2"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\TimeOut]"Flags"="1""TimeToWait"="1"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\ToggleKeys]"Flags"="34"I think boosters reg is shorter. I havent tried either way just posting to give more options for people.iN2Fun
shipping
This just happened to me in WORD....I got this from the 'Office Assistant' help feature: go to Tools, then Customize, then Keyboard, then in the Save Changes box click current doc. name and then click on Reset All. It will restore all keyboard shortcuts to their original settings...however...I was not able to select 'restore all', so went to Tools/customize/options and clicked on 'reset my usage data', and that did the trick! Thanks for your responses....had I not happened upon my solution, I would have used yours...was previously in a huge bind! Yzöwl
I use this registry setting for the 'Right Shift Key For 8 Seconds Problem' it has always worked for me!In order for the setting to work, the computer must be turned off and back on again, rebooting explorer does not work. The Setting:Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard ResponseValue: FlagsValue Type: REG_SZValue Data: 122The correctly formatted and encoded reg file:NoFiltKeys.zip
