Black-Panther
AutoPartition=1 or 0If you have the selection on 1 then Windows Setup will install the OS on any free partition that is available. If you remove this line or if you put AutoPartition=0 then setup will ask you on which partition you wish to install Windows onto and advises you what to do if your partition already contains an OS. MsDosInitiated = "0" or "1" - DIDNT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THIS ? (soz for caps)If this setting is on "0" it will inform Setup that you are installing from CD, put a value of 1 if you use only diskettes to bootMate , the thing is , I want it to format automaticly , without asking me if i want it FAT32 \ NTFS
Famer
it means that if your fully formanted c drive is 160gb then it will format and install xp and all your program on that one partition . thats what will happen if you use the 1 it will install using ntfs---->edit you winnt.sif file and put a 1 where the 0 is Edited August 29, 2004 by Famer

CoffeeFiend
You double posted the question. And you also expect us to go do the search for the switches for you as well?If you search you will find them easily (most of them at least) and you will learn in the process. Even trying to launch them with switches like /S /Silent and such would get a lot of them to install silently. Nobody's gonna spend an hour looking it all up for you...As for the formatting part, http://unattended.msfn.org covers it, and microsoft's deployment kit explains it all in details also (and even has tools to create the winnt.sif files for you).If you try and have a few specific questions left, then most certainly everybody will try to answer them... We also need our sleep time
