Crash when making user?

Ok... for all my tests in vmware, it never crashed. But when I install it on my real computer, after it asks for the user stuff and starts creating it, it crashes. (this program has encountered an error. would you like to send report to microsoft or something like that) Sorry, i can't get the log file since this only happens for my real computer... when it is installing...

btw... my comp is a amd64 trying to install 32-bit windows if that makes a differnce

Just yesterday I also reinstalled Windows XP 32 Bit on my AMD 64 system. WIHU didn't crashed there.

Please send me your install.ini and mention me when and from within you called WIHU (GuiRunOnce, cmdlines.txt etc.).

And unfortunately I can't help you very much with your problem, but I had it once, too: WIHU crashed right after I clicked OK and it ought to start it's working process. But this was because of my let's say broken Windows system that time. I reinstalled Windows and everything worked out well again. What I want to say: I _guess_ the problem isn't related directly with WIHU.

@nivek7: When you run WIHU from within Windows (after installation) with the same settings and install.ini, does it also crash then?

Otherwise, is "Data Execution Prevention" on or off?

Btw. in your settings ini, NO user will be created because the one and only user start with index 1, which isn't possible here.

[environment.0] will also be ignored then, remains [settings] section.

It works after installation. (with DEP disabled and I don't know if it works with DEP on) I think its the data execution prevention that is making it crash. I've been having lots of problems with it until I disabled it. (I disabled it after all install was finished).

For the config part, i want the person to make their own username/pass etc. ( no problems here )

No DEP isn't the problem, I didn't disabled it and it worked.

There must be another problem, may be this isn't a WIHU problem.
