After I slipstreamed SP2 and did a clean install, I noticed that my boot screen no longer says "Windows XP Professional." It simply says "Windows XP" and the copyright years are also missing in the lower left corner. Is this supposed to happen? If not, what did I do wrong? arablizzard2413 Posted August 28, 2004 Share Posted August 28, 2004 You didn't do anything wrong, I email the Microsoft Tech support and they said they "took the chance to change the boot screen", they did it on purpose, don't worry about it.
