prathapml Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 ha! So more people join into the party...Welcome Bi0haZarD - its nice that you're onboard now as well (in introducing those who haven't got it yet to Gmail). Funniest thing being - there are now more people (and invites) in this thread _offering_ invitations than asking, LOL. So I guess MSFN has got saturated enough with 'Gmail'ers, huh?No more people want this?
Deezire Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Got 6 Invites to offer.......... Again....... But As I Read.. I would seem almost everybody on MSFN already got a Gmail account by now...But.... as i said before....... 6 invites...... Who wants them?(sorry for my bad english.. hope it doesn`t scare you off B) )
bonedaddy Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 I've got three left PM if you need onebonedaddy
prathapml Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 ^^^^^ The posts above ^^^^^^^^Ha ha ha ha......See what I mean? (all the invites just going stale, no takers)
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 i friend of mine was given an invitation, 3 days ago he registered his account and now he has 6 invites
XtremeMaC Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 this invitation thing is totally stupid, but fun a nice way for google to track things..
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 this invitation thing is totally stupid, but fun a nice way for google to track things..hahahahaha i agree the invitations thing seems to be stupid but apart from the google control, i think it's the best way to attract the attention of user like "hey i've got invitations to share" or "one invitation please!!".good marketing the one from google
Phyridean Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Hey, I'll jump on the bandwagon...now the contest is who can offload one of their invites to me FIRST! You guys are awesome...
prathapml Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 @PhyrideanTake a look at your hotmail inbox - a shiny new invite is sitting there! (atleast.... it is supposed to be, do tell me if it isn't)
Phyridean Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Kudos to Prapthaml! Edit: <Sigh> stupid Hotmail filtered Prathapml
XtremeMaC Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 what happens if 1 gets lots of invitations? does google have a counter or a way of promoting the user who sends out lots of invitations and acceptance? that'd be even more fun
prathapml Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 what happens if 1 gets lots of invitations? does google have a counter or a way of promoting the user who sends out lots of invitations and acceptance? that'd be even more fun oh - that doesn't normally happen. Not too many invitations are "give"able from one account. And they don't have any rewarding scheme. But as fast as you give out the invites you get, you'll catch more the next time they re-fill your tank! (I hope my sleepiness isn't affecting the understandability of the above words )What really is fun (in my view) in this deal, is the happiness of having made others happy (through giving them invites).
Phyridean Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 And Prathapml comes through twice in the same day for me...more kudos. I now have my account, and when I figure out how, I'll send invites to people who request them here.
Famer Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 (edited) this will nake msfn the hot spot now@ drew i hear that, dont want to give them to people who wont be here long or just grab and go. Edited September 2, 2004 by Famer
