CDIMAGE v2.52

And what are you people basing your assumption (of the cdimage v2.52 existing) on?

The "creator Application" field in an ISO?

That can be changed to anything you want - you can even make it say the ISO was created by cdimage v6.890 or whatever.....

its based on this information...obtained from Microsoft and MSDN...personally..that MS used 2.52...but i think the one posted here is fake..the headers and time stamps are the same.

right now...there is specualation about this version....however the MSDN ISO shows to be packed with 2.52...and alot of others are looking for this...some kid hex edited 2.47 to show 2.52 so be aware of any fake version....but to anwser your question....2.52 seems to be a mystery....and 2.47 works just fine.

Hmm, well a hex-edit comparison of the two files seems to indicate that this may be real, but it looks like the /? help section has been severely pruned. The options still work, but most of the help listings are now MIA. Also, the order of several listings within the program are now changed, which would be extremely hard, if not impossible, to do with hex-editing. The file sizes are quite different too. 2.47 is 107K, and "2.52" is 74K. However, having said that, even if this version 2.52 of CDImage is valid, who cares? Like prathapml said, v2.47 works great without any problems and there's no features we need that it doesn't already support. You guys can keep chasing this elusive 2.52 version if you like, I'll stick with 2.47 until it no longer does what I need it to.

If you dont miss a major function of the (possable) new version, you dont need to chase after a phanton. My advice:

1. first to find out witch function is new

2. sencond to find out how to use it (switches, parameters)

3. last to find where to download.
