Windows Installer

I am having a problem where every time that i open a folder in windows explorer which contains audio or mp3 files windows automatically opens windows installer and a message appears "preparing to install" then installation fails and another box appears stating

"the network feature you are trying to use is a network service that is unavailable"

"Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'HMTCDWizard.msi' in the box below"

"C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\{54BCC744-3023-4F21-9945-723EA7E7DB0C}\"

I have searched for both this file and 'HMTCDWizard.msi' to no avail.

Does anyone know what i can do either locate the installation file or stop the automatic installation from happening?

I appreciate your help.

thanks for the tip, but, i downloaded the file and wheni tried to install it i got the exact same error message saying ...

"the feature you are trying to use is a network service that is unavailable"

"Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'HMTCDWizard.msi' in the box below"

baffled ...

do you think a windows XP repair would do anything?
