Norton Antivirus 2005,

-Internet Worm Protection - gr8 dont need ZA or Windows Security Shenter anymore...

-Industry Standard Guys !! been there for 8 years or so !!

and the one GUARANTEED to slow your machine to a crawl, take an entire day to uninstall and leave so much c**p in windows after an uninstall that it's far, far quicker and easier to just re-install windows......... :P

Hi everyone

If someone was looking for these features I recommend this hardly known firewall :

It uses less than 7MB of Ram, usually it stays at 900Kb

Simple to use & to setup

passed all tests of Shield Up

and what matters most, a FREEWARE

then go here, give it a try. you will be surprised

A router. Folks, this uses the least system resources

]Bonkers[

What system resources...

A 'REAL' router will do the job (i.e. Cisco). Linksys, netgear all those retail products are a scam's. AND yes you can get a corporate usable router for the same price as a retail product! Cisco2500 series can be purchased USED for <$200 USD. Only thing is you will need to learn how to configure it ;)

OR if your real techy.. you can setup a nix box

My specs for a nix box:

133mhz proc

64mb ram

2gb hard disk drive

Cisco 2600 series, bunch of $$$ pulled from the wallet  but does more for the job :)

Been using ZoneAlarm for over a year and never had any problem's. Even with the P2P, since I've kept the required ports open. It does have an inbuilt Ad-blocking feature, which seems to be doing a good job, since I don't have any third party pop-up killers on my machine. And a big plus, since it integrates with your Anti-Virus, it even warns you of any updates are available for it.
