Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 I'm getting the same error message!!! But they say my problem is I have 1GB of RAM, so I'd have to remove 512MB and then it would be possible, not tested yet, but is it true?EDIT: this Windows isn't installed unattended!
Paulie Posted August 16, 2004 Author Posted August 16, 2004 I have found this: Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 330909Hibernation Problem on Computers with 1 GB of RAMand this:Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 293399HOW TO: How to Manually Enable the Hibernate Feature During an Unattended Install of Windows 2000The second one is for Win 2000 but I hope it helps with my XP too Paulie
prathapml Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 That's cool! You found the solution. It does look like windows does not like to create a hiberfil.sys of 1 GB. Do try hibernating again after removing one module.

Thanks Paulie!
