Should svchost.exe be given server rights?

Recommended Posts

Hey, im using Zone Alarm 5.1, and for some reason, when Windows XP (Professional) boots, evidently svchost.exe is asking for server rights. I know about some of this program's uses, but was unaware of why it would need to act as a server. Everytime I deny it the ability, nothing acts wierd, so I wondered if anyone else could enlighten me upon my situation...
