walpurgisng
I slipstreamed Windows XP and SP2 using nlite and whenever I boot, then hit any key to boot from cd...., it opens up the screen where u can install third party drivers etc, and then says something to the effect: "Put Windows XP CD in A: and then hit Enter".Am I doing something wrong? It happens when I make an unattended and when I do not check "make unattened".One note, I do not have a floppy drive in my computer, I have my hard drive partioned to C: and D:, my CDroms are E: and F:. I boots from the CD just fine, why is it asking for A:? Please explain what I have to do? Thank you. Yes, before you flame, I know im stupid. Skyfrog
I've never seen that before; when you made the bootable CD did you choose Floppy Emulation? You should choose No Emulation if it asks. I've never used nlite so I'm not sure what options it gives you.
walpurgisng
Made the iso with Nlite, and did not change any settings. Opened iso image with Nero, and just burned it.
Skyfrog
I don't know then, maybe it's because you don't have a floppy drive. I don't think I've ever installed XP without one. When you hit Enter does setup continue or does it just keep asking? You might want to post your answer file for everyone to look over (taking out any personal information first of course).
