smartwayz
Using unattended installation from CD using WINNT.SIF in the \i386 directory. As mentioned hereChanges in Windows XP SP2 Unattended I have figured out why the entry doesnt workin the [iEPopupBlocker] section. Even the current ref.chm (Help File)that comes with the Windows XP SP2 Deployment Tools has an error. You need to specify (HTTP) or (HTTPS) before hostname.Add these [NEW SP2] entries (in the supplied format) in your WINNT.SIF file to successfully customise your XP install.[iEHardening]LocalIntranetSites = http://localhostTrustedSites = http://msfn.org;http://microsoft.com;http://google.com[iEPopupBlocker]AllowedSites = http://msfn.org;http://www.microsoft.com;BlockPopups = YesFilterLevel = MediumShowInformationBar = Yes[systemRestore]CheckpointCalendarFrequency = 2CheckpointSessionFrequency = 10MaximumDataStorePercentOfDisk = 25RestorePointLife = 10[branding]BrandIEUsingUnattended = Yes[FavoritesEx]Title1 = Smartwayz.urlURL1 = http://www.smartwayz.com/Title2 = MSFN.urlURL2 = http://msfn.org-end scriptHope this helps! smartwayz
The [FavoritesEx] section contains the default Favorites settings for the Windows browser. If not present, Setup uses the default for Microsoft® Windows®.IMPORTANT NOTETo make sure your [FavoritesEx] settings take effect, include the [branding] section header and the BrandIEUsingUnattended entry in the answer file to enable the browser-related settings: Example[Branding]BrandIEUsingUnattended = YesPeter
