softkbd.dll - mscandui.dll - sptip.dll

Recommended Posts

Which application needs the following files:

- softkbd.dll

- mscandui.dll

- sptip.dll

I produce an CD image with nlite and install this one.

During the installation of Office 2003 I get an error message (1933).

In the log file these files are located in C:\Windows\ime\ - but these files are missing!

Hmm...i use office 2k3 myself without any problem...

Try leaving IME next time, it's in nlite's language support.

If you confirm that caused it i may put a warning in that description.

On second thought when you read IME description it may have something to do with some Office custom options...maybe keyboard something or ...

I install minimal configuration so maybe that's why i didn't get that error.

Anyone else ?

I'm getting a "cannot copy SOFTKBD.DLL" error. I think it may have to do with the Office Update included in Xable's Update Pack. What's this "IME", and how do I leave it in?

You are reading a post from 2 years ago man. IME is under the options section of nlite. "Clean MUI Language Entries" Also under component removal, make sure to leave languages and keyboards.
