BAH Posted October 7, 2001 Share Posted October 7, 2001 Creating a webpage and hosting files is not something ive looked yet, if i wanted to host files in my space do i need anything special make the files i host downloadable...?e.g, if i had an exe or a zip file in my webspace and create a hyperlink to it in the forum what makes it downloadable...ill try here to se if it works..files if the link works then ignore the post im trying it outRegards,BAH Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't have one on my vzone.virgin.net webspace.Files are also case-sensitive. if you upped it as BaD.zip then the link "bad.zip" won't work. but "BaD.zip" would. XPerties Posted October 8, 2001 Share Posted October 8, 2001 FYI...fthrjack and I are in the works to get another website up so all images and files (small) can be put up on that. This will reduce alot of space that xper wont have to give up and also will help loading forums up. Ill post it under general discussion when its ready.
