registry tweak: L2 cache of your processor

Recommended Posts

i've found some information about a tweak that i had but i didn't know anything about it.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]"SecondLevelDataCache"=dword:00000200

some people have "200" other "0", this setting is the size of the L2 cache of your processor, useful information can be found here

Crusher,Jul 29 2004, 07:45 PM] The DWORD is a hexidecimal number

0 = default nothing setting

100 = 256k cache

200 = 512k cache

sure, this

"SecondLevelDataCache"=dword:00000512
was in my old regtweaks.reg file because i copied it from somewhere.
