oioldman
Thanks All for your help with this.I am running WindowsXP Pro.I even opened a command shell and typed reg add /? but it gave that old chestnut "The name specified is not recognized as an internal or external command...............".I will have another look when I get home, and physically inside the system32 directory this time, and yes show hidden files options is on, (just incase somebody adds it is hidden)
