kC_ Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 hi, i followed the guide too change the default wallpaperi have the modified file hereXPCD\$OEM$\$$\Web\Wallpaper\Bliss2.bmpand in regtweaks.reg i have Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\General]"BackupWallpaper"="c:\\windows\\web\\wallpaper\\Bliss2.bmp""Wallpaper"="c:\\windows\\web\\wallpaper\\Bliss2.bmp"but it doesnt change, it stays as normal bliss.bmpthe file is copied over, as i can manually change it after installed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rustycaps Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 Maybe check the cmd files that you use, as I know that my prepare file (and others) deletes the c:\windows\web\wallpaper\*.bmp files, so either copy it over after you run that certain cmd file, or set it to look on another partition if you have one.
