aresgodofwar Posted July 2, 2004 Share Posted July 2, 2004 i'd like to imbed some sort of mp3 player on my site. i've heard that it has to be flash, but im not sure how to do this. here is what i want to do:have multiple songs for ppl to choose from. i don't want music to be autoloaded.i don't want it to launch an external player such as windows media player, real im not even sure if that can be done. if someone can help me, please reply or email me at aresgodofwar30 (AT) hotmail.comthanks. XtremeMaC Posted July 2, 2004 Share Posted July 2, 2004 i'm not going to give u an answer but I've to say why are u gonig to do thatbc1. if u're going to put a mp3 either they will need to have a fast internet / or u'll have to decrease the bitrate..2. it doesn't have to be flash. look at mtv.com they've a mp3 player3. still I cannot understand the reason why u'd want to put a mp3 player.. u can do it with java scripting + .class files and contain a autoplay=0 value to disable the auto play. sven Posted July 2, 2004 Share Posted July 2, 2004 also, make sure you can put the songs on the webspace. i wanted to on mine, but its copyrighted material and could cancel the account. watc out for terms and conditions.second, i tired the flash thing, i had 3 songs, the file was extremely large. and unless it opens in a frame out popup, it will reload each time they change pagegood luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
