PietjePruts
Hi all,I'm looking for the possibilities of using unattended installations of win 2000/2003I'm mostly using servers with RAID 5 volumes. The problem is that I want to create a 8 Gig partition as a system partition and one with the resulting space. How can I configure the partition size during the unattended install. Zaker
I found it very easy.I use WINPE to bootup, DISKPART to create the partitions that I want, then format the drives as NTFS.Launch the Win2003 setup and you're good to go.All this is run via batch files here and it works great... N2Rocks
We do this all the time on our Compaq servers. They have utilities where you can automate the disk and partition creation. If you are using a name brand server they may have something similar.
Br4tt3
I would also recommend WinPE ( if u got it )... the disk support options in RIS / unattend are not that great. Havent tried the vendor specific tools...
