i have an athlon xp 2200+ and always have on this comp...

ive done an unattended xp install and i had drivers for athlon xp in it...

now it seems its a 1500+ even when i go in windows update get new drivers and stuff... i tried all i could think of...

please help...

ok so now its even better!!!

its not working... yeah the power is ok and all... the fans are moving.

but it wont start (nothing shows on the screen)

kwhat happened is in someplace i cant remember (in setup) i changed "CPU clock fsb" from 100 to 266 so now its not working...

please help me??? :'(

edit: resetted my BIOS with the jumper on mobo to reset it :)

but my problem is still there :'(

what EXACTLY should i modify??

Woah.. Sorry. Should have said something earlier but I assumed you knew how the system worked. DDR stands for Double Data Rate. The keyword being DOUBLE. Your 266FSB is set as 133 in your bios. Wow.. setting your bus to 266 really set it to 533. D'oh!

lol try flashing the bios, either move the jumpers near the bios battery over 1 and then back after 3 seconds or so or better yet, take the bios battery out then put it back in.
