aKaFrEE Posted May 17, 2004 Share Posted May 17, 2004 feel free to move this if it should be under the hardware category...anyway, i have a dell laptop (which has the standard display and the port for a monitory). what i was wondering is how can i get xp to extend the desktop onto the second monitor instead of just duplicating whats on the regular display? or can that only be done with two video cards? any help would be appreciated. If the VC does not have software to extend or split the screen then your best bet is to purchase a desktop system that would support the features you desire.
