Big_BEN
HelloMy Windows XP danish Student license cd is named X1APCCP_DA, does the X1 part mean that SP1 is already integrated...I only used the cd once several months ago, and now my pc requires a format.MvhBig_BEN
Alanoll
open up the HIVESFT.INF file inside the I386 folder on that CD with Notepad.there should be a line right up at the top saying something likeDriverVer=07/01/2001,5.1.2600.1106if it has that, then yes it does have SP1. If the last 4 digits are higher, it's some version of SP2. If it's 0, then it does not include any servicepack.
sleepnmojo
Faster way is look for a DOTNETFX folder on the root of the cd. If it is normal XP, then it should not be there. SP1 contains this.
Alanoll
not all CDs contain it though. Even SP1 CDs

Chris Lee
A question on the side, if I have a XP Sp1a already integrated into a OEM disk, can I slipstream it to sp2 when final comes out?
