IneedGas Posted May 8, 2004 Share Posted May 8, 2004 I have a flash I want to put on my site but i have this software that tells me the loading time of each page and the site with flash it would take 4 mins and 5 sec. on dial-up. Datalore Posted May 8, 2004 Share Posted May 8, 2004 Ok, go to File -> Publish Settings and do the following:On the Flash tab:Check "Omit trace actions"Check "Compress movie"Play around with the JPEG Quality. The lower you make it, the smaller the movie- but also the more distorted the picture will become. Find a good balance between quality and size.If you have sounds, lower the bitrate to reduce sizeThat's all I can think of for now, hope it helps!
