How can I install windows on D:\ ?

Recommended Posts

I would like to install windows XP on the D drive since my C drive has another version of windows.

in http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/winnt_sif.htm I have read the following:

If you want to automate this process with exact specifics on drive letters, partition sizes and filesystems, you may want to consider using Bart's PE and diskpart.

but I couldn't find more information about this.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

when you go to install xp it will ask you where you want to put it if you have multiple drives, as i have 7 and install to " l " all i do is when the screen pops up i specify the drive and the come back later and my silent install is all up and running
