Guys, before posting this I went through every single thread about 98 SE and tried all the suggested ways of getting this to work, but it still doesn't run using vmware, may be once I burn my DVD it will!?

I got a screenshot attached, any help would be great!

Alanoll Thanks for your patience but it still hangs on the same screen which says pls insert boot floppy in drive d I must say now however it does first popup that its formatting c drive but after a few seconds it reverts back to same. Do you think this is a problem with virtual pc? have not burned this to a disk to try on a real machine. :)

hmmm....

i wonder if Win98 is smart like WinNT? perhaps looking for a tag file.....

if you get some time, you could leave out the ALL IN ONE part, and just have the same structure but for just Win98 (saves time building image) but also add the win98 (the one with all the cabs) at the root of the drive....

I'll attempt a few things later on today.

Hmmm....

alrighty then...

I'll look into it.

I personally don't use that anymore. I took an example from the Microsoft boot image. I'll post details about it either today or tomorrow. Hopefully that works for you. I think it worked for daywalker....
