NotHereToPlayGames Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Yes and no. You cannot restore on YOUR view of a chat that you deleted. You can UNHIDE a chat that you hid on your end. Deleting on your end does not delete from the recipient IF THEY HAVE ALREADY READ IT. Plus, your employer KEEPS ALL OF THEM, regardless of who did the sending and who did the receiving. Bottom line, coupled with your other post regarding Teams, if you went "postal", you're screwed!
Tripredacus Posted January 30 Posted January 30 After a quick look, it appears that current chats are located in C:\users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams\IndexedDB\https_teams.microsoft.com_0_indexeddb.leveldb\n.log where user = the user Teams is installed for where n = some number There is another dir in IndexedDB that has a ton of subdir that could be where old chats are located. 1
