ralexand88 Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I am curious as to why it seems that a lot of the members here would rather intergrate the mass storage drivers with the OS ones instead of using the OEM/TEXTMODE method?
pylet Posted April 29, 2004 Posted April 29, 2004 i would rather have my SCSI controller in the windows textsetup loaded by itself, not from winnt.sif or any additional oem/textmode... this also hepls ALOT, if i want to test it on a virtual PC/VMware... as it would fail without the SCSI controller present... when put into windows textsetup itself, no errors even if not present... i stink at english

raskren Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 The TEXTMODE driver function doesn't work when booting from a CD.
