Wow! Then in just 3 days they've pushed some pretty significant changes. One of which is "[ie/youtube] Replace ios with tv_simply in default clients (#14123)", which is a real pity, because I prefer the ios HLS formats.
They've now flagged these formats as requiring a PO token, which (as far as I can tell) isn't true, because the 2025.08.20.232911 version I was using still works just fine for these formats. Now I have to snatch a PO token for these to work.
