XPDM/XDDM GPU Drivers: Latest build to support it (non WDDM capable gpu)

What is the latest Windows 8 beta built with XPDM/XDDM driver support? Starting with Windows 8 RTM, only WDDM is supported.

(And since I prefer to not create the same topic for Windows XP subforum: What is the first Whistler - Windows XP beta build to support XPDM ? )

Thanks

This is for all of these who have an old laptop (non-wddm compatible; XDDM ) and want to have the latest compatible version of Windows installed in dual boot with GPU drivers working. After this build you can't have GPU drivers working.

As we know, starting with Window 8.0, Windows takes advantage of ram memory to make the general os experience faster, cause the purpose was to make an OS for 32gb eMMC tablets with 2gb RAM.

For all these who have an old XP laptop ( non-wddm compatible gpu), but want to try some of the improvements available starting with w8, 8.1/10/11, I have found

Windows 8 pre-RTM beta build 6.1.7850 as the latest build to support XDDM / XPDM Gpu drivers (XP gpu driver)

https://betawiki.net/wiki/Windows_8_build_7850

So yes, XP GPU drivers will work on this build. audio drivers will work too.

Hybrid boot is available too
