Navigating this world feels a bit like this picture to me:

Surrounded by enemies, no allies, no weapon to defend oneself with. Backstabbers everywhere.

Yeah, would have to agree and once we take the 'red pill' and our eyes are wide open to reality we can not go back into bliss and pretend; that being said, sometimes, I don't know what to say.

...Wow, just WOW ! What an hateful person. Is he out of his meds? I saddened an astonished buy this level of unprovoked aggression and hate.

Sad to say, nothing shocks me anymore regarding (so called) humanity. As I said, I don't know how to avoid negativity in society.

New build of post-deprecated Serpent/moebius for XP!

aka Serpent 55; lethal toxicity :realmad: on the official Pale Moon and/or Basilisk forums aside, I believe the very reason this:

https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?p=237897#p237897

"happened" :sneaky: in the first place is the existence of below about:config pref in St55:

app.feedback.baseURL;https://forum.palemoon.org/viewforum.php?f=61

that controls where "Help -> "Submit Feedback..." will take the St55 user who wishes to, well , submit feedback (e.g. a bug) specific to that browser... Obviously now ;) , the value of that pref has to change...

FWIW, @pdemal isn't a username directly associated with a MSFN forum member (ofc, one may use different usernames "there" and "here" ;), ), but by now (and especially ever since the infamous M.A.T. "era" :(), 99.9% of MSFN members do know that "forum.palemoon.org" is NOT the place to register in order to seek support for any application that launches under XP (and... Vista ;)) ...

It has been a very long time ago since my last post on forum.palemoon.org. The last years, I used this forum to find solutions for problems with addons or websites and still do so. So just in a searching and reading mode. albert.gif

Holy Crap!  Look at this Basilisk thread, where I guess someone from here went to the Pale Moon Forum and dared to mistakenly ask about Serpent.  It's not about the right or wrong I'm concerned with: it's the snotty nature that Moonbat conducts himself with.  Just a p***-poor way to talk about people:

https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=28657&start=40#p237935

https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?p=237016#p237016 this thread is what made me leave palemoon for good (the members there are not very good)

Yeah, Moonchild says it's a "privacy footgun" but I am not sure how this is the case. I've gotten him to explain it to me before but I still didn't understand his reasoning.

all your posts in this forum are here in this thread.

why don't you backport Basilisk to XP and why doesn't Basilisk support multi process mode by default ?

Since the last few versions of K-meleon, the search in the address window does not work. The last version in which the search worked was KM76.4.7-Goanna-20230304

In newer versions, the window is empty and the search engine cannot be added manually

I have an issue with the latest NM28 as well as IceApe-UXP on github:

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a clean profile

2) Log In to your GitHub account

3) Go to a random repository or create a new one that you do not care about.

4) Create a new issue, with an initial comment

5) Add one more comment to the issue,

6) When you add a second comment, you will see comment 1 repeat, If you keep adding comments,it will repeat even more.

Example before hitting Comment on comment 2:

1000146530_Beforecomment2.thumb.png.7713bced9ed7ff36e097dc03c92889f2.png

Then after having Hit comment:

820547747_AfterComment2.thumb.png.e2814c8ba450de63c59f935dde7184f8.png

You can see that the comment 1 gets repeated.

This can be quite annoying when there are already many answers.

Can any one else reproduce the issue? I have not tried Serpent yet? I also yet have to try the official palemoon

I am running the latest builds with Windows Server 2003 (NT 5.2.3790)

EDIT: I can confirm that the same happens with the latest build of Serpent

HTTP-only mode request (again): Now an example site to test:

http://forums.internetfreedom.org/

All the links of the site are HTTPS, which does not work for me (time out) in Serpent 52.  Maybe they work out of china's great firewall. But manually change the link to HTTP works.

No problems here with these links in Serpent 52! No timeout, the HTTPS-links on this site can be opened and work as they should.

This issue seems to happen with old profiles. In a clean, new profile, this issue doesn't occur. Just tested! Anyway! Not so great! Any ideas to continue using old profile?
