Try setting pref security.ssl3.rsa_aes_128_gcm_sha256 to true.

Posted about that a few posts above yours ;) ...

Actually, that suite (0x9c) is natively supported by Serpent 52.9.0 and it's controlled by pref:

security.ssl3.rsa_aes_128_gcm_sha256

This is set to "false" by default, because, as posted, the suite is "WEAK"; enabling it (...)

Edit: I think I know why it's considered "weak" by SSLLabs: it's not that it's inherently weak;
it's that it doesn't provide "forward secrecy."

Also posted about that a few posts above yours ;)...

FWIW, both cypher suites are considered "WEAK" by SSL Labs, because they lack "Forward Secrecy":

If a determined attacker recorded all your encrypted conversations with mega.nz, and at some point in the future, mega.nz's private key were compromised, the attacker could retroactively decrypt everything you'd sent to or received from them.

Many thanks :thumbup for your layman's explanation of what "Forward Secrecy" (or lack of...) actually is!

I'm pretty sure this cipher suite is only used by TLS 1.2

Correct :thumbup; more info available here ...

Best greetings :) !

Understood ... appreciate the detailed reminder and explanation.

Be well.

I hope you don't feel sad about having to stop examining file versions. I know you like to look at file versions a lot, but @VistaLover stands a point about them, too.

Be well too, my friend.

Thank you, I just was a bit taken off guard that VistaLover was so sharp in his response to me, but perhaps having a bad day (we're all entitled to one).

I trust him as he knows his stuff about Roytam1's browsers.

Thank you for picking up that I was sensitive ... see, you do understand vibes and I'm doing much better now that I went out for a walk.

Same in New Moon 28. After setting security.ssl3.rsa_aes_128_gcm_sha256 to true, MEGA downloads are working again. :thumbup

I will have to go through this as is was told to me to disabled that one. I did notice I was not able to download the MEGA file, only in 360 and DCBrowser was I able.

Well, so that you don't feel alone, I also love to look at file versions a lot.

... Sorry if you received my "advice" to you in that particular way :); being rude was the farthest thing from my intentions...
Accept my advice, if you will, in the context of "paternal love"; like a father has to, sometimes, raise his voice slightly at his kid, to prevent it from causing harm to itself through its own (bad) actions... BTW, thanks for the undeserved praise :P ...

Thank you guys, no worries and I'll gladly accept fatherly advice as my DD Father was so wise and even at time when he would be a bit harsh, he always had my best interest at heart - and I know you do as well @VistaLover

Noticed recently that the PaleMoon 28 build won't download any files from Mega (kim dotcom's site) ... you get "temporary error" and infinite retry failures.

The file browsing part still works OK.

In contrast, the 360Chrome builds from ArcticFoxie work fine...

Pretty sure he didn't intend it that way. It's just how his writing style comes off (at least to us Americans). One gets used to it after a while.

Yes, since I don't get on that often, I was reading the penultimate page of the thread and decided to reply. I posted my reply, and the board moved to my post on the final page; I then edited my reply to add more info, after which I finally scrolled up and saw that the conversation had continued for several more posts including yours. But, there's no "delete" option, and I didn't want to edit my post down to merely "Never mind...."
