Ublock Origin Lite (MV3) vs AdGuard MV3 Chromium Extensions

These two adblockers are already in development for the next adjustment to MV3.

Now, only UBO Lite guarantees blocking of the URL tracking parameter.

Only with AdGuard MV3 is it possible to enter custom lists.
But care must be taken that the limit of 5000 rules is not reached,otherwise the previous rules entered will be decreased to zero,nullifying the blocking effectiveness.
So basically custom list entry is reduced to 1/2 lists.

Now Adguard MV3 ensures more effective ads/annoying elements blocking for cosmetic filtering support.

Although the transition to MV3 seems to be postponed until June 2023:

I am experimenting with a combination of the 2 MV3 extensions installed at the same time.

Although it will not be of interest to any forum member  while waiting for the resolution of the 2 open issues that I am most interested in I have finished setting up AdGuard Mv3.

I have improved privacy/security and web pages load much faster.

I inserted 2 custom lists to improve privacy/security:

It is possible to simultaneously enable UBO Lite to block the URL's tracking parameter.
In this case with only one filter enabled:

I can’t write a custom rule to block WebRTC in Adguard MV3.
I opened a problem that was assigned to an engineer (woman ) AdGuard.

I have no problem with ublock Origin.

Well. I don't know about adguard (except for its lists), but thank you very much for sharing your knowledge over time. I can confirm that using UB in hard mode you can both have most (not all) of your current social media requirements, while allowing you to surf with relative privacy.

I wonder, @Sampei.Nihira, what lists would you recommend for a beast like mypal68. Be well.

I can give you lists of filters that I use in Edge:

consider that I use at the Next DNS level also:

• EasyPrivacy
• OISD full

You'll notice that I don't use anti-malware/phishing filter lists because this task is left to other areas of my security configuration.

Kees1958's filter list (last in the custom lists) is not good for MyPal68,you will find other alternatives at the link below:

The response is that there is in the extension a probable bug.
I hope that by the middle of the year 2024, the AdGuard team will address these 20 open issues.
