But in single-process mode, and using the cusom button memoryMinimizationButton and the tool Firemin, it's fine, so far. Will need to try the memory and firman. Basically, I'm only on old RAM and I've only 2GB of reliable as the other 500MB sticks are bad. My systems are very very old and showing their age. But hey, just like me, rough around the edges and and needs a little bit more love and it sings like a crow. Wait
AstroSkipper
A short note on GitHub in Mypal 68. As long as there is no polyfill extension available or a new, fixed release of Mypal 68 is provided, GitHub can only be used in this browser to a very limited extent or not at all. This issue has been reported weeks ago and is well-known. Cheers, AstroSkipper

AstroSkipper
Updating of extensions in Mypal 68 I don't know whether other members here have already noticed that updating of extensions via the Addons Manager doesn't work at all. In my system, there were new updated versions of several extensions available at the official Firefox Addons site, but checking updates via the Addons Manager leads to the message "No updates", unfortunately. I had to download and install them manually. I have already reported this in the issues of Mypal68. It's the issue #138. Tested with Mypal 68.12.5b. feodor2
I had removed all links to the mozzilla including addons, for now you may update manually only and with a hassle. Before update you are to delete the file addonStartup.json.lz4 inside the profile. I want to know why the addonStartup.json.lz4 needed at all. So is it possible with tricks in the 1st page to install another xul addon?
AstroSkipper
Hello @feodor2! Thanks for your reply! I take this opportunity to thank you for the latest beta version Mypal 68.12.5b. A big step forward in the development. I am thrilled! 4 hours ago, feodor2 said: I had removed all links to the mozzilla including addons, for now you may update manually only and with a hassle. Before update you are to delete the file addonStartup.json.lz4 inside the profile. I already updated some extensions in the past. I did it via the update menu item of the Add-ons Manager without deleting anything before. I wasn't aware about deleting the file addonStartup.json.lz4 first. Why should it be necessary? Anyway, it also works without deleting this file as far as I can see. 4 hours ago, feodor2 said: I want to know why the addonStartup.json.lz4 needed at all. I didn't notice any issues but I'll test and examine this a little more closely the nexr time. As far as I can remember, the manual updating via the update menu item in the Add-ons Manager by selecting its xpi file works as expected. I want to know why the addonStartup.json.lz4 needed at all. Hello @feodor2! As promised before, I checked the profile folder and the already updated extensions in my installation of Mypal 68. The file addonStartup.json.lz4 exists in the main folder of my profile and doesn't have to be deleted when updating extensions. Therefore, I can't confirm your statement, unfortunately or fortunately, it's up to you. The first page of the Add-ons Manager or the first page of an extension on Mozilla Firefox Add-ons website? Anyway, I already installed several extensions from the first page of an extension on Mozilla Firefox Add-ons website without any problems if the extension was really compatible with Mypal 68. Furthermore, I updated some extensions via the first page of the Add-ons Manager by using the menu item "Install add-on from file" without deleting anything before. So what is the issue? Hello @XPerceniol! You are always welcome in my thread, and the place for your post is the right one, especially, when it comes to extensions, custom buttons, or anything related to them. You can contact @feodor2 in the issues on GitHub, in @Jody Thornton' Mypal 68 thread, or here in my thread. AstroSkipper
@XPerceniol! Just an additional information! Please do not expect a prompt reply from @feodor2! He does not regularly visit our forum, only from time to time. I am saying this here so that you will not be disappointed if you do not receive a direct reply. XPerceniol
Thank you for the reminder. I don't think he visits the other XP Forum either. Which reminds me - I need to correct some errors and misinformation from myself over there, but at the time I don't know better and am still learning about Mypal.
