zcarrt Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Anyone rocking with a X299 motherboard? So far, xp 32 bit can only show nvme drive, sata and CD drive not show up in device manager. I don't know if it is a ACPI problem.

Dietmar Posted March 21 Posted March 21 @Dibya It is not possible, to upload a file correct to this server any more. Do you have another place, where I can upload it Dietmar

Damnation Posted March 21 Posted March 21 @Dibya This is the latest one I have, might be out of date though. https://easyupload.io/tlms4s 1

Damnation Posted March 31 Posted March 31 @Dietmar Can you check if HWINFO32 spits out garbage BIOS data with the latest acpi.sys 7777? It might be just a windows 2000 specific issue, but would like to verify.

Can you show me the process? I am a beginner and am using this hardware as a fanless windows XP box. I only intend to use it for nostalgic purposes - to play old mp3s and & run old office programs. So far, I have tried a vanilla install and am getting the 0X000000A5 stop error. Thank you!

Svyatpro Posted May 8 Posted May 8 (edited) Hello folks! Can anyone please upload lastest ACPI/HAL/PMM Driver for XP/2003 x86? @Dietmar Edited May 9 by Svyatpro
Svyatpro Posted May 11 Posted May 11 (edited) Well, I took acpi.sys 2600.7777(v8) from Ramsey's Patch Integrator. Manually patched halmacpi.dll and intelppm.sys using Dietmar suggested byte-code changes for Win2003 SP2 (hotfix version). And I got performance decrease in CrystalMark2004 for about 10%. I use Broadwell CPU i7-6850K. The culprit is patched intelppm.sys Edited May 11 by Svyatpro
