Tommy Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Without really reviewing the hardware too carefully, I'd say Windows 7 is probably the oldest you could potentially install on your laptop. Even though Windows Vista is part of the NT6.x line, I almost consider it to share more traits with Windows XP since a lot of things were cut off from Vista when they were with XP. That's the problem with laptops and ultra small form factor PCs though, you can't really customize your hardware and even if you had a few options from the vendor when picking out your configuration, it's iffy if things like your wireless adapter or graphics adapter will work. Generally audio works without too much of a hitch. If you could post a list of your hardware such as graphics, audio, wireless/wired network adaptor, and chipset...we could probably make a better determination.
Sergiaws Posted March 17, 2022 Author Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) firstly, I'll make three groups. In the first group, I'll include the devices which I must be able to use in Windows Vista/7. The second will have additional devices, and the third group will contain additional devices which I don't use. the first group includes: chipset: Manufacturer Product SerialNumber Version LENOVO LNVNB161216 PF2HP7H6 SDK0J40709 WIN realtec audio: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257&SUBSYS_17AA3887&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257&SUBSYS_17AA3887 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022&CTLR_DEV_15E3&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022&CTLR_DEV_15E3&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022&CTLR_DEV_15E3&VEN_10EC HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022&VEN_10EC HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022&CTLR_DEV_15E3 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&CTLR_VEN_1022 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&GF&VEN_10EC&DEV_0257&SUBSYS_17AA3887&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 USB stuff (I want to be able to use USB devices) USB\ROOT_HUB30&VID1022&PID1639&REV0000 USB\ROOT_HUB30&VID1022&PID1639 USB\ROOT_HUB30 PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1639&SUBSYS_381017AA&REV_00 PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1639&SUBSYS_381017AA PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1639&CC_0C0330 PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1639&CC_0C03 PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1639&REV_00 PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1639 PCI\VEN_1022&CC_0C0330 PCI\VEN_1022&CC_0C03 PCI\VEN_1022 PCI\CC_0C0330&DT_0 PCI\CC_0C0330 PCI\CC_0C03&DT_0 PCI\CC_0C03 second group (networking and bluetooth) BTH\MS_BTHPAN PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_C822&SUBSYS_C12317AA&REV_00 PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_C822&SUBSYS_C12317AA PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_C822&CC_028000 PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_C822&CC_0280 PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_C822&REV_00 1 de 9 PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_C822 PCI\VEN_10EC&CC_028000 PCI\VEN_10EC&CC_0280 PCI\VEN_10EC PCI\CC_028000&DT_0 PCI\CC_028000 PCI\CC_0280&DT_0 PCI\CC_0280 BTH\MS_RFCOMM USB\VID_0BDA&PID_C123&REV_0000 USB\VID_0BDA&PID_C123 USB\Class_E0&SubClass_01&Prot_01 USB\Class_E0&SubClass_01 USB\Class_E0 In the third group I'll include the graphic card (NVIDIA GForce GTX 1650), I don't need it cause I'm totally blind, and Windows can even work without the graphic driver.
