Hello,

I want to install win98 on my laptop for some reasons (reactos doesn't see my disk and I want to check how minecraft would work on win98), I already have

FreeDOS 1.3RC4 with Windows 3.1 installed here.

What I did:

1.Created new 6gb FAT partition on my usb and extacted win98 iso to it with p7zip

2.Plugged the usb to the laptop

3.Ran "SETUP /IS /NM" as a video on yt suggested

4.Setup ran, but after I clicked the button to start the installation, on top of the screen appeared texts like "Checking drive A...", and everything except mouse froze.

This was on FreeDOS 1.3RC4 with JEMM386 memory manager enabled (this one I use for win3.1).

Laptop's specs are:

Name: Dell Latitude E7240

Processor: Intel core i5 vpro 2.00GHz (as I can trust neofetch)

RAM: 8gb

Disk: 488gb SSD

CDROM: no

Is there any way to install WIN98 on this laptop or something like Integral Edition for XP (that installed fine at first try, but later something broke and I cannot install it anymore).

Thanks in advance.

PS i don't use xp:

I don't use XP. My main OS is FreeBSD, but it isn't on the list.
