Screen goes black after copying files

Hello i'm trying to install windows xp on my old pc but when it finishes copying files and reboots the screen goes black

CPU: Intel Pentium E5800

GPU: Integrated Intel Graphics

RAM: 2 GB

it went black after the bios and there is no hdd activity

Original Pentium from 1990s or newer 64bit one:dubbio:. Well jokes aside could you you give other specs like model

tried boot from boot menu to hdd and made sure hdd is on boot list?

I went back to windows 7 and went to the xp partition and there is only a windows folder

So, it didn't actually finish copying files. Writing the bootloader comes after that.

Did the installer ask you to press a key to reboot (while also counting down for automatic reboot)? I guess it didn't.

 

Since you have another working Windows there, you can just use WinNTSetup to install XP.

Hi

Problem of boot because u installed xp after Seven

insert win 7 cd.... Repair startup...it will find Seven and xp entries...

Restart ... choose xp ...when xp loads, insert your usb flash or xp cd to continue the installation

I do like that always
