Warning count will definitely deviate from one run to the next.

Not sure why all of these showed 20 skipped when @Dave-H was able to get a 0 skipped.

Just tried again with FF 52.9.1 ESR on XP SP3 x86.
Exactly the same result.

Looks like I win with 401 passed, 3 warnings, 0 critical, 0 skipped @ Pale Moon 29.2.1 x86 @ Win10 x64 10.0.19042.985. Same result on Manjaro Linux updated June 2021 and x64 build of Pale Moon 29.2.1.

Just noticed that you are running an official Pale Moon version (2nd-to-newest) and also running the 2nd-to-newest Win 10.

Kind of an unfair comparison to pit those results against the rest of us on this thread that run (and prefer!) Win XP and really only limited our tests to a browser we use in XP but that we copied over to 7 or 10.

I'm betting I can find a browser that runs on 10 that passes all tests with 0 warnings, 0 critical, and 0 skipped - but it won't run on our (prefered!) Win XP

Is there a "rollup" package for all of the POS updates?

I don't have ANY of the POS and I think you cited that you do.

I wasn't really a fan of POS when they broke some of my apps a few months in to their rollouts, but maybe that's different now and I should give them another try.

The unofficial Service Pack 4 for XP contains all the POSReady updates.
I've never needed to use it myself, so I can't comment on any problems with it.
Interesting that the fact I have the POSReady updates might be the reason I'm getting different results on the browser test.
Of course a POSReady updated installation of XP has had a further full five years worth of security updates compared to a normal installation!

The tests look highly "browser specific" in nature, not sure how OS plays into them. Someone will have to give a really good explanation about that connection before I buy it.

Here is my wired results for my v13 build 2206 v3 on Win10 x64 LTSB with 8 GB RAM and i5 @ 2.4GHz  --  results

Still 12 warnings which does match my XP x64 on wireless.

OK, that does make sense - same results on the same browser regardless of the OS.

Thanks.

I'm going to reinstall XP x86 SP2 just for the sake of curiosity - I'd like to rule out @IXOYE's "prehistoric modem"

Is that "prehistoric modem" why you won't upgrade to SP3?

I do know that I compared SP2 and SP3 "performance" way WAY back when SP3 was released, I didn't see any benefit to staying with SP2.

do know that POS updates broke several of my apps, but I just reverted to SP3 with zero POS and haven't dug into it any further (likely won't, as far as that goes).

I have Windows XP x86 sp3 on a Sony p4 3 GHz VAIO laptop and Windows 10 pro on another PC,
I'm keeping xp2 on this one, because I've done a lot of software tuning and I like it best of all, the CPU heatsink is held together with underpants rubber bands, because the plastic retaining hooks broke a long time ago because of the heat. this computer is 17 years old, the AGP graphics card is 12 years old an ati radeon 4650 which I changed the original fan which was too fragile by putting a CPU fan much more resistant...

With an old Pentium 4 at 3 GHz on x86 xp2, the videos in general are bad with all versions of 360 chromes (1054,1106,2206,2250), there are cracks on the sound and the video jerks in 720, because it does not take the "hardware acceleration".  of the GPU of my Ati radeon AGP HD 4650 graphics card unlike New Moon which uses the GPU of the ati radeon ...
the problem comes from chrome 360 which does not use the GPU and my GPU and takes into account d3d11 from "Windows 7".  .360chrome just uses my p4 CPU which is quickly saturated with 1280/720 videos.

Everything is listed in " chrome://gpu ". of chrome 13.0.2250 if you are on a hardware xp system...
the test on https://www.antutu.com/html5

In short, for videos it's bad compared to New moon on weak machines because of the gpu not being supported, but for the rest chrome360 2206 V3 laptop is the best for me with my old 17 year old xp2 machine.
and the 480 videos play well...

Oh, I also use "xp-AntiSpy".  I'm not sure if some of its settings will affect the warning-count or not?

safe xp with zeb protect  + xp-AntiSpy

That's great wireless, I drop to right around 28-31 d/l on average when on wireless.

I got the modem in the next room, not much difference if I'm right beside it with my phone though. To PC, it goes through my phone then through USB 2.0.

The phone supports 2.4G up to 802.11n standard, though the modem also does 5G (A/N/AC). Theoretical maximum of 802.11n is significantly higher than what I get.

I also got only about 15 Mbps with 802.11g standard using iconic Linksys WRT54GL router and Tomato 1.28 firmware.

Regarding the tests on that site, reading recent posts give the impression they're rather quirky.

Yeah, nobody wrote XP compatible HW acceleration code for Chromium. It just wants Direct3D9Ex.
