Cannot Set a Web Browser as Default in Windows Vista Extended Kernel

So i installed the Windows Vista Extended Kernel on my Vista System, and Firefox 78, but i can't set as my default browser so internet links won't open, it will just give me an error saying "Application Not Found" Can someone explain this?

Check your associations.

This might be useful:

The "application not found" might mean that right now you have an incorrect path to the .exe or to the "provider"(ProgID/file class) , which should be - i believe - FirefoxHTML, compare with this (though the program is for later versions of windows that introduced hashing for some settings:
