videos wont play anymore in firefox even with the lav codec pack added

i really don't know what to do firefox  just refuses to play videos at all even with the lav codec pack by roytam1 installed i think it might just be broken if anyone knows a way to fix this it would be really appreciated-legacyfan (also i think it might be a bug)

Hi legacyfan. Firefox 52.9 installs its own h264 decoder and does not need a codec pack. (Roytam1’s browser builds need third-party decoders, but I don’t think his instructions call for installation.) Are you trying to watch YouTube videos with Firefox or what exactly?

im trying to watch webcams on a website i like but it just sits there forever and wont load and autoplay  is not even in the browser options (and yes youtube wont work)

I should have been more specific: Firefox 52.9 x86 installed its own h264 decoder. If you are attempting to use Firefox x64 on XP x64, then you are out of luck because it required Windows 7. But if your issue involves Vista with extended kernel, then you need win32’s mfplatsetup.
