Private DNS with ControlD-DNS

After many tests on the PC I tried to configure the private DNS with ControlD:

 

https://controld.com/

DNS-over-TLS must be used:

p2.freedns.controld.com

(Block Malware + Ads)

 

on my Android smartphone

 

https://www.smartphones.how/internet/private-dns-mode-android

 

Do some tests for the ads blocker.

In my opinion it's really OK.

Did some tests by changing DNS always with Android Opera, same conditions:

ControlD = 100%
Quad9 = 69%
Adguard = 63%
Cloudflare = 65%
Cleanbrowsing = 63 %

I have changed controlD to AdGuard DNS which allows me with my Opera Android browser to block CNAME-cloaked trackers.

I believe that for chrome-based browsers only Brave can natively block this type of trackers.

I use Android Opera as my browser, not Brave.

Email client:

• BlueMail
• Aruba PEC

Opera:

• Search Engine DuckDuckGo
• Cookie on - Except third parties
• Pop-up blocker - on
• Close tabs + clear History and Data on exit
• Opera ADS blocker
• Opera Anti Trackers blocker

Also would never use brave because of reason(s) that are personal. Also don't trust it. DC Browser and 360 V9 and V11 also still work fine, but sometimes the latter fails when DC will render even loaded videos and my free movie sites .

BTW. Its been said not to trust Plex free movies, I still watch but NEVER EVER log it .
