My Browser Builds (Part 3)

Recommended Posts

"Therefore, my answer to your question is very simple: nothing."

Hello AstroSkipper,

I should have asked that question more comprehensively:

What happens when you disable your  VLC Web Plugin for that above mp4 test file AND do you see the dialog box:
"What should Serpent do with this file?"   or

"What should New Moon do with this file?"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

For reasons of clarification:
In NM28,St52(2022-9-3) that dialog box did not appear
and the mp4 test file did not play.
Instead there was something like an endless repetitious
loading cycle,but to no avail.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------
To sum it up:  "nothing" = no dialog box

Hello VistaLover,

your Serpent(2022-8-5) obviously plays that above mp4 test file.

My older Serpent(2022-7-30) plays that mp4 test file too.

But what about the latest (2022-9-10) Serpent version ??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

As it stands now for Serpent (2022-9-10):

mina7601       mp4 test file won't play

anton12          mp4 test file won't play  (NM28,St52)

AstroSkipper   mp4 test file won't play  (NM28,St52)

20220806 works while 20220827 doesn't.

changesets: https://github.com/roytam1/UXP/compare/e36be164d...5ae83c47f

but nothing media-related.

The word "nothing" implies, as it is used in all languages, that nothing happens at all, no playing of the video, no notification and so on. Is that clear enough for you? :dubbio:And, to elaborate it a bit, and just for you, I disabled the VLC Web Plugin in Serpent 52 (2022-09-10), then opened your video file, and that resulted in the all-knowing "nothing" again. Clear so far? Savvy? jacksparrow.gif

@AstroSkipper - you do not need to sound so "rude" and "condescending".

I'm afraid you need to readjust your perception.  And maybe, you'll watch the film "Pirates of the Caribbean"! But, only in case you have not completely lost your sense of humour! jacksparrow.gif :) If you were a native German speaker, you would understand the retranslation "Clear so far!". jexplique.gif And, @anton12 is a native German speaker! Therefore, sorry, only for insiders! bahnhof.gif

PS: Ich versteh nur Bahnhof! - literally:  I only understand train station! - meaning:  It's all Greek to me! = I understand nothing at all! (Sorry, @VistaLover!)

No, I didn't get that. I have installed VLC in Windows XP, and the page offered to activate the VLC Web Plugin which was installed in all browser automatically and set to "ask to activate".

I understand now.

To quote Skorpios in
360 Extreme Explorer Modified Version:
"Yes the page is rendering but have you tried to select a car and search?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(The results below from Skorpios and VistaLover are quotations from the topic mentioned above.)

Questions:
Who can render the above website with NM28 or St52 ?
AND who can select a car and search ?

                                                  rendering             car search
Skorpios        NM28                        yes                        ?
                      St52                           no                         ?

VistaLover     St52(2022-8-24)        yes                         ?

anton12         NM28(2022-9-10)       yes                       no

Is completely unusable at this point with 2022-07-20 versions of New Moon and Serpent 52. Not even rendered basically. But old 360EE 11 show it right. Can anybody have any ideas? Should i complain on Pale Moon forum as PM also fail to show it right under Windows7 ?

Hello Rod Steel,
for me the website you want to render is certainly not
completely unusable,but since I can't read Russian
I have to refrain from any judgement about the quality of the rendering.

Apparently you also can not read Ukrainian, because on screenshot everything is on Ukrainian language.:)

Also i don't understand the meaning of your post and photo. This is your Asus computer on photo? Or you manage Rozetka to work properly with New Moon?
