I found that the installer will open and run just fine on Windows Vista and 7 until the last phase of installation, when it says that it is installing VC redistributables. UCyborg Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 I guess the official Facebook Messenger app can be added to the list. Even though it's an electron app, which should work on Windows 7, it hangs on startup and no UI is shown.

Same here on Vista, Audacity works just fine with no errors popping up whatsoever, but maybe we won't get technical support.
