Sampei.Nihira Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Is it possible to set up an email account in an Android app without setting up SMTP outgoing mail? With the default email app I use I can't even repeat an SMTP that I have already preset in another email account. Because it is recognized as already in use. With Windows email clients this is possible but with Android it seems impossible. Thank you very much for your eventual help.
UCyborg Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 May I suggest K-9 Mail? You still have to enter SMTP settings for each account, but it shouldn't complain if the same SMTP server is used with multiple accounts.
Sampei.Nihira Posted September 21, 2020 Author Posted September 21, 2020 (edited) It works perfectly. Unfortunately, it should be noted that the version 5.600 of the Google Play Store is obsolete. I had to update the app with the Uptodown app which has build 5.715. At the moment I only entered one account because I have no idea how it behaves with Yahoo and Gmail + OAuth2 authentication. I'm sorry for the delay in replying but I had lost all hope of an intervention. Thanks again. PS Updated to build 5.718. Unfortunately K9 does not support OAuth2 authentication Edited September 22, 2020 by Sampei.Nihira
