Hi. Can anyone check and confirm the BSOD C2 error after clicking the "Szkoły" link on the site: https://nk.pl/logowanie

I checked three different computers including the VMware machine and the error is also on Google Chrome 49

There is various information in WinDbg:

Probably caused by : win32k.sys ( win32k!XLATEOBJ_cGetPalette+6f0b6 )

or

Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KeDisconnectInterrupt+48e )

I loaded the page in Serpent 52 x64 without issue. I have every update except for the May 2019 updates.

Did you click the "Szkoły" link ???

What is your actual setup (both hardware and Virtual machines)

What is your XP spects? version? last update? Settings?

Any IS software running?

browser version?

VMware Workstation 8 on Host same as Guest WinXP SP2 x64 - only exFAT (WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB955704-x64-ENU.exe) and X.509 (WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB938397-x64-ENU.exe) update installed.

Firefox ESR 52.9.0 32-bit, Host CPU Intel C2D

Now, I have installed these updates but they do not help and I still get error in WinDbg C2 caused by win32k.sys

  • WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB968537-x64-ENU.exe    win32k.sys
  • WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB932596-x64-ENU.exe    ntoskrnl.exe
  • WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB935839-x64-ENU.exe    kernel32.dll
  • WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB949459-v2-x64-ENU.exe    ntoskrnl.exe, hal.dll
  • WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB951126-x64-ENU.exe    hal.dll

Yes. My ntoskrnl version is 5.2.3790.5583, dated 2015-03-17.

After installing the WindowsServer2003-KB3045999-x64-ENU.exe (5.2.3790.5583) update, I still have error C2 on VMware 8 - I do not understand :dubbio::} - maybe it depends on the hardware ???

P.S. ntoskrnl.exe is from 2015-03-16 not 17 March ???

My win32k version is 5.2.3790.6080, dated 2017-04-26 17:57.

I'm running an X58 system with Xeon X5670 (Westmere).

I could not find this version but I found a slightly older update of the win32k.sys file: WindowsServer2003-KB3070102-x64-ENU.exe

Now nk.pl works normally in both VMware and real hardware :P

win32k.sys 5.2.3790.5667 - June 24, 2015
