Mailnews

The name of the exe has changed.
The folder has been changed
All email accounts must be redone from scratch....................or is it an error please check.

I think you can just move profiles.ini and Profiles folder from old prefix to new prefix and it will happily load your old profile.

I also need to change/verify CCleaner's custom settings for MailNews cleaning ..... Speedyfox ..... MBAE ..... OSA ......
In Italy it is too hot to stay at the PC for long.
I delay this update.

There is no Mailnews folder in application data-Binary Outcast just the old interlink folder.
Same goes for local settings - application data.

 

As I wrote to you, I also have to modify all the paths of Winapp2.ini and SpeedyFox:

new path should be "%appdata%\OpenSource\MailNews" and "%appdata%\OpenSource\BNavigator"

If this is on NTFS, just replace the old folder with a junction pointing to the new one.

Just wanted to confirm that moving profile data from \Binary Outcast\Interlink to \OpenSource\MailNews presents no issues here after updating to the latest MailNews client with the rebranded executable. All my accounts were logged in and authenticated, though folders were re-downloaded (imap).
