ALl haswell and ivybridge GPUs are supported but you will have to modify the driver yourself to make it work if it could work

http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22875/eng/WinXP32.zip

or

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22642/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-XP-exe-?product=97499

so you would have to mod the IGXP32.inf find a driver that supports baytrail on like win 7 and compare the drivers and copy the strings from one file to the other file or somthing like that.

I have heard that its not possible to get GMA 4400 to work but baytrail is not 4400.

Thank you! Any tips of modifying will also be appreciated!

I just realized my biggest issue is the Encryptor/Decrypter Controller. It's been causing annoying, brief moments of freezing and slowdown. The problem is there is only a Windows 7 driver at closest.
The network and audio are the other two last concerns ;)

I used Snappy Driver Installer and it installed Bluetooth and USB 2.0 and 3.0 drivers (although the USB drivers had a missing entry point despite successfully installing)

:cheerleader:xps not going to see more than 3gb ram anyways without a kernel patch, dibya has one hes working on that is supposedly better than the old Chinese 64g one might want to investigate that.  maybe message dibya.

Yes, but 2 GB is "queer".

Personally I would rather try first to install a XP SP1 and see what amount of RAM it actually sees (with /PAE switch) before going down the path of these kernel patches[1].

Only for the record the PAE access limitation was introduced (arbitrarily) with XP SP2, but there may be other reasons (usually BIOS related) that prevent anyway to see only part of the RAM installed.

[1] Which - all of them - have been reported as being generally speaking NOT stable, and since the actual (official) reason for the limitation to RAM access with XP SP2:

https://web.archive.org/web/20061123232102/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888137

was to remove compatibility problems with third party drivers, I wouldn't want a non-stable, experimental, patch on a system on which drivers are already not functioning or are however hacked/parched/adpated and not fully tested.

I need drivers for...
Intel Valleyview SoC - Integrated Graphics Card (Video)
Atheros/Qualcomm AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter
Intel Valleyview SoC - HD Audio Controller [C0]
Hardware ID is: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV__0F04&SUBSYS_06901028&REV_0E
If it helps, my motherboard model is Dell 0F2A80.

Then finally, I need to re-enable ACPI so XP can properly shutdown.

Audio Controller Hardware ID
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F04&SUBSYS_06901028&REV_0E

Potential Solution? (Dell site lists audio driver as Realtek High-Definition Audio ALC290 Driver)
https://www.realtek.cz/download-driver-nr-447-for-realtek-ALC290-and-WindowsXP-32bit.html

PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller (Intel Trusted Execution Engine?)
Device instance: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F18&SUBSYS_06901028&REV_0E
\2&EBB567F&0&D0

Hardware IDs
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F18&SUBSYS_06901028&REV_0E
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F18&SUBSYS_06901028
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F18&CC_108000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F18&CC_1080

Graphics
Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F31&SUBSYS_06901028&REV_0E

Something is not right on the computer...the computer has a tendency to lag for brief periods of time.

More or less contemplating if I should just put XP on hold for a bit and just dualboot with 7

Turns out I used the incorrect Windows XP SATA driver the first time I installed this and I certainly didn't need to disable acpi either (or even replace it).

Just use the "Universal 32bit Intel RST textmode driver v11.2.0.1006"
https://www.win-raid.com/t22f45-Guide-Integration-of-Intels-AHCI-RAID-drivers-into-a-Windows-XP-W-k-W-k-CD.html

Integrate SATA driver with nLite.

Use WinSetupFromUSB to create a bootable iso

Make sure the computer itself is in legacy boot to allow a boot from USB

Before Windows XP's setup gets far, press f5 and change to "Standard PC," failing to do so will result in a BSoD.

Done the right way this time. The toilet roll strikes back! ^o^

The chipset and sata driver are no problem, but I have yet to figure out how to force the pc from a "Standard PC" to an ACPI one. I obtained a custom acpi.sys which apparently fixes issues with XP systems.

The video, audio, and network driver are problematic. It seems I can't find an XP driver anywhere! One option for the video driver is the universal NT series driver...but it doesn't support hardware acceleration. The audio driver I tried from dell failed...and I can't find an XP network driver anywhere T_T

Blackwingcat's link is also broken:thumbdown

Found a universal audio driver that supposedly works with WDM. I could try this on my computer or Thinkpad R60

http://www.asio4all.org/

kX Drivers (might be 2000/XP only):
https://web.archive.org/web/20121023121439/http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/

Edit: Neither work -_-

Another potential audio driver

A bit late, but I should mention that the ACPI error I am getting is "0x000000a5."

If I could somehow get my hands on a modded bios, perhaps that can alternatively fix things...

Can you send a screenshot of your A5 BSOD? It will give hints as to what the error is

Have you tried my ISO? It has a patched ACPI driver that should have fixed these errors (unless i've missed something)

Yes, I've tried it without any success. I also tried manually transferring your ACPI.sys driver to a Windows XP installation.

This PC lacks a native CD-drive, so I'm not sure if using WinSetupFromUSB 1.8 broke something.

Also, I may (probably not) have found a video driver for Windows XP.

I tried the modified ACPI.sys and got another BSoD...

https://imgur.com/iUTNco8

Once I get home today, I'll try using the backported ACPI.sys from the one core api project.

EDIT: Both the One Core API ACPI.sys and the ACPI.sys you provided did not work...
